Chef Jamie Gwen’s Hot Dog Burnt Ends for Memorial Day
Start your grills: Memorial Day is upon us and you’re definitely going to want to try Chef Jamie Gwen’s Grilled Hot Dog Burnt Ends.
Here’s everything you need to know to prepare a tasty Memorial Day treat that the whole family will love, using your Twin Eagles outdoor kitchen.
8 jumbo hot dogs, cut into 2-inch pieces
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons BBQ rub
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, BBQ rub, and mustard. Place the hot dog pieces in a shallow disposable aluminum pan and toss with the sauce mixture.
Preheat your Twin Eagles Grill to high heat. Place the pan on the grill and cook, stirring often, for about 15 to 20 minutes or until the hot dog pieces are dark golden brown, charred in some spots, and caramelized. Then enjoy!
